I’m sick of having to hide the fact that I’m eating to avoid getting dirty looks and long speeches about how unattractive my love of food is from my own mom. I know she loves me and all, and she just wants me to be healthy, but she just gets angry when I tell her I wish she would stop talking to me like the only way people will like me is if I’m thinner.
